Rebuilding our sanctuary

A strong earthquake struck the center of Morocco on Friday, the 8th of September 2023, shortly after 11 p.m. local time. Thousands of people were killed. The survivors suddenly faced the ruins of their homes, without water, food and shelter. Humans and animals were in desperate need of immediate life-saving assistance. In addition to countless fates, our sanctuary was unfortunately also affected by the earthquake.

The castration rooms were completely destroyed and the Berber monkey enclosure suffered great damage. We are currently focusing on repairing all damage and ensuring that animals in need are given shelter in the future. Every help counts and we are looking forward to your support!
